Galentine’s Day!

Grab ya girls! It’s Galentine’s Day! February 13th, the day before the big “day of love” when we celebrate our first loves: our best friends!

When we’re not planning weddings, we love to pay some appreciation to the support team that keeps us moving and grooving. Our besties always have our back, listen to our crazy stories, lend a hand in tough times, and keep us laughing daily. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, this year we are fully taking advantage of this girl’s day with some fun party ideas. No matter what relationship status, this is a date everyone can look forward to.

Girl Power!

Save the little black dress for the 14th, this day is all about pops of pink! You can put together this party with any style and to any extravagance. No dinner reservations required! Using your apartment or an available venue (if you have one!) take advantage of pre-valentine’s day sales or make your own decor with any theme. A potluck is the perfect way for everyone to show off their signature dish whether you want to go for casual appetizers or a sit down meal. Work on that playlist with your favorite girl anthems (Can we get some “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” up in here!) to set the mood for your festivities!

Who runs the world? Our girls! Let’s get some love going for our number ones before being wined and dined by our beau. Take some of the pressure off for a perfect Valentine’s Day by celebrating your own way the day before. For some extra special touches, ask your local event planner where to get some custom stationery and write out personalized cards for all your best friends. Including inside jokes is a simple but heart-felt way to let your gals know how much you care. Finishing touches: the sweets! For our friend-festivities we’ll be picking up a custom pink cake from one of our favorite local bakers!

No matter what kind of event you are planning, big or small, attention to details and a theme will pull your entire party together. We plan all sorts of parties and love stepping out of the box from weddings to stretch our creativity. We especially love planning events for our friends and family to show them how much we care! This February 13th, take a moment to show your girls, guys, family, and besties how much love you have for them and then dim the lights tomorrow to share a special night with your significant other.
